Iso's Story

From listening to everyone's else's options to trusting her intuition by offering self development workshops and retreats

  • What was your initial motivation for coaching?

"I had a deep desire of what I would like to do, but I was stuck and confused, you know, not knowing which route to take. Like, “What are the steps or little actions that I could take to achieve that, you know?” I remember you and me sitting on that bench and just telling you my dream of having these nature retreats. But I didn’t see how I could make that happen or how I would ever make money from it."

  • What was holding you back from going out on your own?

  • And what do you think was the biggest sticking point we had to overcome?

"Self Doubt. I was definitely making other peoples’ opinions more important than my own voice. You helped me to be aware of this because sometimes I could share a story with you and you helped me see there was a pattern and then I could make a plan to overcome my doubts and feel more empowered right away. You also helped me be more mindful about who I choose to have around me."

  • What was the most impactful session we had?

"The one we called 'Trusting How to Attract the Right People to Me'. Yes, we were walking in Arlington. And I was doubting myself about the website and if people would come to me or if there were even people out there wanting what I had to offer, all of that. And you had such a gift to really make me redirect my energy from the past or what I don’t want to what I do want. The more I do that, the more confident I get and, you know, the more at ease I get and the more I trust."

  • What do you feel like you've gained through the coaching process?

"You built my confidence up to pilot the workshops I wanted to run while we were still coaching. I led multiple workshops, putting myself out there, trusting that I have the power to do those things, you know, and just feeling more confident in sharing that to people and just allowing people to come.I got to see how these workshops made me feel and made other people feel, and that was a gift for me, you know? That I can make a change and impact them here.Just taking action was huge."

  • And what was your biggest coaching win?

  • Finally, what would your advice be to others who were in your position?

"I would tell them to work with Brooke. I would tell them to take small steps and to surround themselves with people that trust them and that to just keep moving forward is enough. And then things will show up.“I’m just so grateful to have you as a coach because now I am a different person. I feel more confident. And even though I still have some limiting beliefs, I can see them now and I know what to do. Having a coach is like having a buddy who can show you the map that you might have forgotten or lost.”
