Christyal's Story

From questioning her worth to trusting the value of her holistic and intuitive services.

  • What was your initial motivation for coaching?

"I was clear on what I wanted and I was clear on the vision, but I wasn’t clear on how to execute it. I needed someone to help me see the blocks and help me get out of my own freaking way."

  • What was holding you back from going out on your own?

"Limiting beliefs like: You have to stay in your job until retirement.

Something could go wrong and then you won't have the health insurance or the pay check every two weeks. I don't have a support system around me to help make this happen. I am not capable to valuable enough to generate the income I need through this venture."

  • And what do you think was the biggest sticking point we had to overcome?

"Money. All of the sticking points were interdependent for me, but money was at the
foundation. I was so comfortable because I knew what money was getting and I knew I could keep getting even more money if I just held on for five or six years longer. You start to think that maybe you can just stick this out because it’s too easy to doubt yourself about making money elsewhere, like “Can I really do this because I don’t know what it’s going to require of me.”

  • What was the most impactful session we had?

"The one we called 'Calculating Revenue Streams'. Every session held nuggets to help me break through barriers but when we calculated the revenue streams it was like you were holding up a mirror showing me what was possible. I alsowasn’t looking at certainthings as support but youhelped me to realize “Oh OK, Iget it. Now I see how supported I really am.”

  • What do you feel like you've gained through the coaching process?

“I see that I have the ability to essentially create and produce anything I want and I’ve been holding myself back based on my self-doubt. But now I’m realizing that in order for me to fully operate in abundance, I have to trust myself to operate in what I’ve been given: my gifts, talents, and resources, and that I have to step out in a way where I can actually in work in a space of purpose. You definitely allowed me to see that I can spread my wings and fly instead of just standing on the branch at the edge of a cliff.”I realize now that whether I have $5 or $100,000 in my bank account, I am always supported and taken care of. I feel I am better able to trust that things will work out, and I don’t allow excuses to hold me back anymore.

Going forward it will allow me trust one step at a time instead of anxiously needing to see the end result.”

  • And what was your biggest coaching win?

"Actually setting a date to retire to depart from this career and depart on my own, something I’ve been trying to do for over 5 years."

  • Finally, what would your advice be to others who were in your position?

“If you’re unhappy in your job but want to make a change and you feel held back, seek assistance outside of yourself. I wish I had identified that I needed guidance a lot sooner because I had the desire and the ideas sown but now I see how it is all possible thanks to coaching.”
