Alex's Story

From unclear identity to running a thriving yoga and bodywork practice

  • What was your initial motivation for coaching?

"I wanted to grow my yoga and bodywork business in a way that felt deeply aligned with my values and lifestyle. I had a clear vision of a simple, abundant, and connected life — one where my work, relationships, and personal rhythms harmonized instead of competed with one another. Coaching felt like the container to help me bring that vision into tangible structure, so I could confidently step into the next chapter of my business and personal life."

  • What was holding you back from going out on your own?

"For a long time, I internalized expectations from others and society about how I “should” work — that I needed to constantly be productive, follow a Monday-to-Friday schedule, and prove my worth through output. I was also influenced by others’ work habits, which made me feel like I should always be doing more. Additionally, fears around being “seen,” not being ready enough, and worries about financial security all contributed to a sense of hesitation."

  • And what do you think was the biggest sticking point we had to overcome?

"The core sticking point was recalibrating my sense of “enough.” I had to disentangle my identity from overworking and external validation, and release deeply ingrained beliefs that rest or slower rhythms meant I was falling behind. Letting go of proving my worth to others, and shifting from scarcity to trust in flow, was a powerful and necessary transformation."

  • What was the most impactful session we had?

"One of the most impactful moments came when we unpacked my “enoughness” narratives. Labeling triggering thoughts as untrue and replacing them with healthier truths helped me create new neural pathways. It was a tangible, empowering shift — from subconscious pressure to conscious self-trust — that affected every area of my life and work."

  • What do you feel like you've gained through the coaching process?

"I’ve gained clarity, structure, and confidence. I now define success on my own terms: working a flexible 4-day week, earning sustainably, and inspiring others authentically. I’ve built systems that support my ideal rhythm and learned to align new opportunities with my core priorities. Most importantly, I’ve learned to trust myself — that I am enough, my work is valuable, and the universe will meet me when I move with integrity."

  • And what was your biggest coaching win?

"My biggest win was designing and stepping into a business model that reflects my authentic values — one that balances work, rest, and personal growth. This included clarifying my offerings, letting go of what no longer served me, hosting aligned events, and boldly promoting my own programs in my way. It’s also been a win to experience consistent income while honoring my natural rhythms and boundaries."

  • Finally, what would your advice be to others who were in your position?

"Trust that you don’t have to do everything at once. The clarity and abundance you seek already exist within you — coaching simply helps bring it to the surface and structure it. Release the need to prove your worth through hustle. Take small, aligned steps, build supportive networks, and don’t be afraid to reframe what success looks like for you. Rest, trust, and let your business grow from that grounded place."
